Some of you will have read the thread that my Father passed away and as I am flying back on Thursday I was trying to get tickets to the Hull game on Saturday. I am very grateful for the kind words and also for the offer of some of your season tickets.
I tried to book tickets on line but they requested the date that I got my credit card, I'm lucky if I remember my wife's birthday!

With a different hat on, I'm promoting an event on behalf of Solihull Rotary Club.

There will be a fashion show (at the moment, ladies clothes only) at John Lewis in Solihull on Thirsday 19 May.

6.00pm - 8.00pm and an hour of shopping time for attendees after the show..

Tickets are £15. For that, you get a glass of Prosecco, the show and a £0 voucher to use on the night. Rotary charities will also benefit.

It's a small step, but imo this is another step forward for the club. Yes, I know not everyone uses Twitter, and it's office hours only - but another line of communication to talk to ticketing or supporter services in addition to what there is currently is a good thing, and should be praised.
