I really don't know why I'm sat in Halesowen when I should be there in Bridgetown, but here I am.
Two young debutants today, and I'll be particularly interested in how Saqib Mahmood goes, as I'm a bit of a fan of his.
Average first innings score is 288, so we'll be all out 220.
One of the hot topics recently is the wage bill still being way above sustainable levels and Gardner's talked at length about part of his 3 year plan is to remove last of the high earners on 20k+ a week. But who exactly are they?
It commonly known the 3 below are in that bracket:
Dean
Colin
Sunjic
Also, of Karanka's signings I'd expect these 3 below to also be there or thereabouts:
Hogan
Etheridge
Sanchez
How about the likes of...

I know a lot has been said about it on here but I thought it was just bluster and the usual moaning. I was wrong.
It was my first visit to St Andrews since before the first lockdown and feck me it was nothing short of depressing in Kop Corner.
No atmosphere, no catering when you get through the turnstiles, no hot water in the bogs, surrounded by dickhead kids, and spending a couple of hours getting mugged off by the away fans (who were great I thought).
That’s... Читать дальше...
I think I've only bothered with one midweek evening match this season. Truth is, I find it to be a depressing experience.
The club are very good at telling you they're listening but acting on what they hear, less so. It is no way Ian Dutton's fault whatsoever but I find it incredible that a life long Blues fan who has worked at the club for a while seems so unknowing about the basic flaws of the matchday experience.
I switched off the game after about 60 minutes as it was just awful. I was also livid at the first pointless challenge from Pederson to get him his first yellow card. I now have just checked the score and saw he was red carded. The bloke is a complete liability, him going can’t come quick enough.
I'll personally be glad to see him gone. He's ok at CB but not great with the ball so when teams are pressing us, he's an easy target. He's got no pace so at fullback on wingback, he's easily beaten and offers nothing going forward.
I don't agree that he's putting no effort in though. He's made a few good blocks recently where he's clearly had to work hard to get there but I just don't think he's good enough. There are problems throughout the team but if his contact is up, he's an easy one to get off the books.
Know we have a few Stones fans on here.
Presale tickets for their ‘Sixty’ tour are available. Obviously quite pricey but they do put on a show and good chance this could be the last time, they surly can’t last much longer.

I’m taking the lady, who loves them to Amsterdam, make a few days of it.
Is there an OAP discount?
Any idea why he didn't feature last night? Don't think I can stomach another game with Juke up front.
Hogans movement was good but, the combination of formations somewhat baffling

This is very similar to yesterdays first race in that any of the top 4 could win. Capodanno has a huge engine and if he jumps well will be there or thereabouts. I like Ahoy Senor who was favourite to beat Bravemansgame on Boxing Day, but he jumped poorly and was well beaten, he normally jumps well and I will be backing him ew at about 8/1. The front two in the betting are both exciting horses, this should be a cracker.
If he's sticking with Roberts then next season will be painful. Poor centre half at this level, a total throwback, agricultural to the extreme.
Morning All
Firstly I promise not to mention the football.
As for yesterday, it was a bit of a struggle, if bookies still paid out on the old first 4 places it would have been a shocker, luckily 2 5th place finishes limited the losses.
I have a couple of stronger fancies today, might even get one of them winner things that people talk about ( famous last words).
Post your selections here, good luck all and enjoy the day if you are going.
Oh and by the way……how shite are Blues?

Are we all now placated about BSHL? Appoint a Bluenose to get the Kop painted and improve the food? Is this all it took to quell the anger and misery of years of mismanagement and neglect?
The crowd tonight seemed depressed from the start and it just got worse. I’d rather have the energy of highlighting how we need to get #BSHLout than shrugging shoulders and no energy in the ground at all.
Admittedly, the football isn’t much to be excited about. But that’s just the sharp end of this very shitty stick. Читать дальше...
Yep, bit of paint and some decent scoff doesn't hide the fact that yet again we have had a season of circling the plug hole again (masked by other clubs points deductions).
We are in relegation form and next season we might not have other clubs to bail us out.
BSHL are still a disgrace.
1. One game closer to end of season
2.
We had the absolute worst of the game for 70 minutes though.
