Lloris (9 replies)

Wish this Lloris had been in goal for France when replayed them!

I think I've seen the best struck volley I've ever seen in this game, skill, power, technique. What a shame Parteys shot didn't hit the back of the net. It deserved to. Stunning strike.

Boycott is the only answer!!! (31 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Starve them of money! Starve them of revenue! Dont buy any merchandise! Dont pay at the gates!

A 100% boycott of everything to do with the club is needed to hit them where it hurts.

If everytime you bought something from Asda it was crap you wouldnt keep going every week giving them money!

Its not rocket science!!!

So stop ya moaning and start doing something constructive!!!

Re: Cheating FFP - chelsea

Small Heath Alliance

FFP has achieved the objective for those involved in its implementation. To protect the already elite and be an obstacle for anyone striving for it.

Cheating FFP - chelsea

Small Heath Alliance

So chelsea have signed Mudryk on an 8 1/2 year contract. The only logic i can see to this is the spreading of the cost over the length of the contract to cheat FFP. Great for the player is if goes to shit but where does it end ?

VAR again (25 replies)

Awful. Trippier has foot trod on. Fulham get pen ????

Re: VAR again

Small Heath Alliance

Maybe so but I’m not sure technology is the answer either.

We seem to have just as much controversy now as before but it’s harder to get your head round decisions as people have a second viewing.

Not sure it’s all worth it for the price of taking the spontanuity out of the game.

Tuesday

Small Heath Alliance

I think we need to go full on to beat FG on Tuesday, this team needs a confidence boost and it's come at a good time. Difficult to see what formation to go with but I think we have to change Graham if we go with wing backs, it's not working. I'm not blaming Graham he's playing out of position and on the left.
Thoughts?

Ibis car park (no replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Anybody on here park on the Ibis car park and if you do, did you get a parking fine for the 16th December which was the Reading game and when the machine wouldn't take any form of payment.

Seeing them bring in a player of the quality of Pablo Sarabia, who I've admired for years, alongside the overall quality running through the side is continuing to knock me sick.

Signing Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota in the Championship continues to live in my head rent free all these years later.

Dressing room gone (20 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

For an unrelated matter I was down the touch line yesterday for a good 20 minutes watching the goalkeeper warm ups. In that time I knew we were absolutely doomed, I could see from all the face and body language of the keepers and Maik Taylor there was just no energy, no confidence and total apathy. It stinks to me of the dressing room being miserable and the morale rock bottom. If that isn’t fixed soon I reckon we’ll be on to even harder hidings than yesterday.

Its every single season this shit happens. Can't we all just chip in and buy the club ourselves and be a fan owned club? Sick of the annual negativity around this club

Re: Without wanting to go full happy clapper…

Small Heath Alliance

I'm with you mate, good post. I suppose the answer is the manager/coach is Johnny on the spot, an obvious target when things start going south.

Think we all realise our real problems at the club are not manager or player rated, but unfortunately there seems to be naff all we can do about it.

So we vent at the manager and players out of pure frustration.

Without wanting to go full happy clapper…

Small Heath Alliance

Has the last 24 hours not seemed a little mad to anyone else?

3 weeks ago we were 2 points outside the play offs, we had a genuine ‘who might win the player of the season, we have so many options’ discussion and Eustace was one of the managers of the season.

4 poor results later, from a squad pre-season we all decided would get relegated with 10 points, and suddenly I’m seeing calls for the manager to be sacked? People talking about the dressing room being lost?

It’s been 7 years of this nonsense... Читать дальше...

Re: Everton

Small Heath Alliance

If Everton went down they would come back up. The money gulf is enormous.

New ground start winning more than they loose and the whole atmosphere at the club changes.

Whether they would kick on once going back up is questionable.

Re: Scunthorpe united

Since winning 1-0 at Cambridge in March 2021, the Iron have played 61 League matches, and 27 Conference matches. And won 9.

Keep your answer to a yes/no pls. No long explainers.

If you could go back in time, keep Sullivan and Gold in charge of the club (ie no selling the club to Carson), be guaranteed stability and premier league football … BUT the consequence is that in this hypothetical world we never win a trophy or play in Europe … would you take it?

For emphasis. Yes/No answers only.

I’ll start.

No.

Bellingham and hall (17 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

If there was a certainty it would go straight into the transfer budget i would sell them both not because they arnt good enough but because they are the only things worth money at this club and could secure us maybe some stabilty

Re: Bellingham and hall

Small Heath Alliance

Jobe is being weighed down by his brothers rise so quickly, remember people were saying that Jobe was potentially better than Jude, at 17 I think he has done well, he's in a struggling team but as always given 100%, he will be a very good player, whether he reaches Judes level is a different matter but the level we are at he will be fine
