Is there any reason in particular why our mascot is a British Bulldog?
I know the reason behind the name, just not the animal of choice.
Was having a discussion with a mate in the gym earlier who's a coventry fan.
Theirs is an elephant as the animal is on their city coat of arms.
Then he asked why ours is a dog. Honestly just curious.

Believe next strikes are the following weekend
Watched it last night, the new version on Netflix.
Wow. Incredible.
I would seriously recommend you give it a watch if you haven't so far.
Really grim but couldn't take my eyes off it.

Isn’t he pretty much the same type of forward as Deeney, Juke and Cosgrove? Admittedly I haven’t seen him much but we’re crying out for a bit variety (and youth) in that area of the squad.
You think Deeney,Juke and Cosgrove are similar?
I can remember queuing for Cup tickets in the late 60s, I recall being there very early on Sunday morning and queuing for hours, I know when we got the tickets we would walk inside the ground at the back of the Tilton to exit. I specifically remember the Chelsea 6th Round game and the replays against Sheff Wed and Aresenal, also the Semi against Albion. Is anyone's memory better than mine?
Where did the queues stretch to? I think the turnstiles opened for ticket sales at 12 noon?
Queued numerous times in the 70s. In Cattel Rd out the Tilton. Usually loads of piss heads straight from the clubs so lots of fun and games. One particularly cold one a newspaper seller had his bag robbed by some genius who used the papers to set a warming pavement fire. It burnt for just over a minute. Daft then, daft still, Blues fans never change.
Forget about the financial benefits, I’m thinking only about the football fan experience and related emotion: if Blues could win the FA Cup this season or be promoted to the PL for one season only (I.E next season), which would you choose?
I suspect I’ll be going against the common opinion here when I say that I will choose the FA Cup win….
Although we won and were better in the second half would you risk dropping some of the regular first teamers who are under performing at this point in the season, drop them to prove a point and to give others the chance to step up or is this strategy too risky? What if they get hammered, I know fans would be all over them like they have been with Long.
