You reckon they are still two weeks away?

Got to come to our place yet Lowe, expect a warm reception. Typical scouser.
It's killing us at the moment. We could and should have put a few teams to the sword already but let ourselves down time and again with decision making with the final ball, holding onto it too long, not giving it to a teammate in space, attempting the wrong type of cross or shot.
We have a lot of new players out there who will need time to gel and learn eachother's games, but this is where Esutace really needs to earn his corn coaching this team as an attacking unit.
We shouldn't overlook the poor decision making in our own final third.
Led to each of their goals and other instances, like Drameh in the first half, could have been worse for us.
Physical or skill failings are relatively easy to address on the training ground.
Decision making errors are far more difficult to correct.

Wasn’t that always the aim for this season? The squad is better than last season but still a huge work in progress. We still have issues with the depth of the squad and also are propped up by a core of players that have consistently underperformed and played in a bottom 6/7 team.
This season was always going to be tough one especially with the ground still the way it is.
Next Summer is the big one. Get the ground reopened, say goodbye to the last of the old guard and build around a new... Читать дальше...

It doesn’t come as any kind of surprise that these players are dropping like flies, however we are still managing to look half decent without them
Thanks Rags, one can only assume its on Mr Wagner’s agenda for his trip this week.
Do we have a dedicated coach for our defenders. One of the first things you are taught is to defend with your back to goal so what the hell was Bielik et al doing for their first goal? it was comedy gold so lets hope that they sit down and watch the game frame by frame, to iradicate it, cos that mentality will be exploited by the opposition over and over.
He channeled his inner Johnny Sexton for that one.
Not seen much said about Long but besides Miyoshi, Long was prob my MOTM. Won everything in the air and made some vital blocks and clearances. Shame he couldnt get to the second goal but the improvement hes made since he arrived is superb. Him and Sanderson compliment each other well

Agreed, he was superb last night. Probably our most consistent performer so far this season.

Yeah he's ok - just what I expected, not a bad addition at all, but probably won't start all that many games for us if everyone is fit - good option off the bench though.

He's the player David Dunn would have been if he had had hamstrings
He was ok, but there is no way on earth he meant that pass to Miyoshi for the goal.
Looks to be the panic signing that we apparently didn't make on deadline day.
Such a frustrating player. Based on the two starts so far he'd be an impact player off the bench for me. Using his pace against tiring teams.
I wouldn't like to see one of Dembele, Anderson, Bacuna, Miyoshi or Stansfield miss out in an attacking position for Burke.
He has good pace and physicality but seems very wasteful, if we're going to try and carry on being dangerous on the break then he has to use the ball better. Читать дальше...
Said they are sorry for not buying a striker and generalBlue is fit
He let Preston get away with foul after foul every time we tried to break. There's "letting the game flow" and then there's just taking the piss.
