It’s fair to say Blues have tried all approaches where it comes to managerial appointments and where has it got us? How far down the line are we? How much money has been squandered? How better is the squad now to what it was?
Karanka may pan out, I doubt it i very much do, I don’t believe he will be leading this club come next season, three year plan sounds all sensible but these owners and this board really aren’t patient and let’s be honest after investing in this blokes big salary and letting him have absolute say on the players he wants, to then serve up with what we’re getting is a recipe for disaster and you’d be a fool to think otherwise.
Where it all ends I do not know! It was quite damning for Karanka to state that there’s no money after Luton and he doesn’t have the players to play this or that way but that isn’t going to change is it, he has to implement a strategy that will obtain promotion that’s his MO! Right now we’re again a bottom half to relegation threatened outfit and don’t think we’re too good to be drawn into that battle, whereas before we had Ches goals, or a a manger wanting to have ago in Monk or a manager to inspire like Harry, what right now has Karanka got that will drag this club away from that level of completion? We have ground out draws against Luton, Rotherham, Coventry and lost to Wycombe.
I don’t want to be miserable, Blues don’t do a lot for my mental health at all but I bloody love them and I always will.. I can’t tell you what then winning does for my weekends! someone please tell me it will be better or there is a time it will all just click? I just don’t see it under Karanka, I want him to succeed but I don’t see it in the teams performance, I don’t see it in his ideas or tactics and substitutions, he even sounds deflated on his post match interviews, the fans are already divided.
Worrying times it really is.
