The 2023-24 New Orleans Pelicans have a strong starting lineup on paper and depending on health, could have a pretty interesting ceiling this season. Of course, a lot will fall on the shoulders of all-world big man Zion Williamson, one of the most dynamic athletes in the NBA today. When he’s been out there, Williamson has been All-NBA level. The problem is, he’s hurt far too often.

The Milwaukee Bucks heading into 2023-24 made major waves by trading for superstar point guard Damian Lillard to pair with perennial MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo. Lillard provides Antetokounmpo with the best scorer he has ever played with and it’s not even close, while Antetokounmpo will help mask Lillard’s defensive deficiencies.

“When you look at an offensive player, particularly a big, the skill set that he has, I think we all saw, to win the 3-point contest and stuff like that, there’s nothing he can’t do offensively. Without a contract extension signed and the deadline less than two weeks away, the Knicks’ Immanuel Quickley said he’ll continue practicing and playing at full tilt while unconcerned over a potential injury. “That’s where my faith comes in,” the backup guard said. “Really all up to God. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been fortunate to not even be worrying about it. It goes days, sometimes weeks, where I just forget about all that stuff. Unless somebody reminds me. So just coming in everyday and trying to get better is my main focus.”
