The family of a woman killed in a shooting on the Tuscaloosa strip near the University of Alabama campus has filed a federal wrongful death lawsuit against three men, including former Alabama star Brandon Miller, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft. The other two men named in the complaint are former Alabama player Darius Miles and Michael Davis, who are facing capital murder charges in the shooting death of Jamea Jonae Harris, 23, on Jan. 15. Along with being a champion four times over, Andre Iguodala also proved he was much more than an athlete during a 19-year NBA career that he now says is officially over. DeMar DeRozan is in the final season of his contract with the Chicago Bulls and could become a potential trade candidate if he doesn’t agree to an extension. “One guy to keep an eye on, for everybody, the whole league, this year is DeMar DeRozan,” said Brian Windhorst on First Take. “If he doesn’t extend with the Bulls, I think he becomes a trade target as the season goes along.”

AD is the five. Period. Has to be. They can’t win with him playing the four. And he needs to be in better shape. He looks like he worked this offseason. The last time he was in great shape was when they won the title. He was significantly leaner than what he looked like last season. I don’t know what his deal was. But he looked significantly heavier compared to what he did. They need a leaner version of him this season.
