It’s hard to imagine this causing irreparable damage to the relationship between player and team, given their history together. It’s part of the business and Siakam gets that more than most. If and when an offer comes – and, according to a source, he would be open to signing an extension – any awkward posturing leading up to it will likely be water under the bridge. However, it’s clear they’re walking a fine line. “I’m under contract, right?
