Wigan Warriors • Catalans (h)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Top of the league, all our top players signed long term, WCC in the cabinet, cup semi on the horizon. All without getting out of second gear.

Also got sent an e-ticket this afternoon.
Could have saved myself a trip to the ticket office if I’d of known. I’m pretty close to the ground so major issue but if I had to travel some distance to get to the ground I would be fuming. Still a pain in the arris.
Still don’t know why fans awaiting ST couldn’t have been advised that this was happening.
Obviously will be of zero use if don’t have an iPhone.

Got to the gate my ticket didn't work... Читать дальше...

Stu and YG, sorry if it’s been covered but what’s your thoughts on Dodd leaving?

A bit of a blow but nowhere near the loss Welsby would have been. Not in the same league as him as a talent.

Can't answer for Stu and YG but for me i'll be glad to see the back of him

Never watch Dobbins but fair play there doing well. Still think Wigan will turn them over in the CC .

Agreed, need a strike centre and backrower. Along with a 7 and 9, that's why not too bothered about over spending on Amone.

Broadbent having a good game for Rovers, hope we can make an offer bring him in like we did for Walker.

Broadbent isn’t the answer to our centre woes. Anyway he has already signed a 3 year deal with Rovers.

Bradford Bulls • Swinton (a)

Tough game but one we need to find a way to win if we are serious about top 4 places - especially after two losses. Lose again tomorrow and suddenly our season opening looks very ordinary, we aren’t good enough to slip too far behind the pack chasing Wakey.

The club have picked the perfect golf club for the open day, as they both share the same business sense. One month after emailing the club about shirts no response. The golf club when i sent a cv off about a job they were offering which i had experience in, phoned me and asked about my age. When i told them i was 48, they responded" Oh sorry but we are really looking for younger people to make a team." Hull FC • Re: DoR - New Coach - Investor & Adam - New signings

It appears that the popular narrative in the rugby league press is that everyone will turn down the opportunity to coach Hull. I can't remember the last time a change of coach created such a ripple across the domestic game.

Really enjoyed that.
Said on the way in we'd win by 20 and it was better than that.
Great support again from the Trin fans.
Thought Griff was MOTM, but Galey, Caleb, The Roof and Ky wern't far behind.
Controlled the game much better, and they didn't really have an answer to our forwards and the quick play the balls.
Great result and onto Bradford we go.
Up the Trin!

Wakefield Trinity • IMG

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I did register to it.
He is clearly doing loads of things to improve the IMG score and I think he even lowballs the number we'll get to.
But he does get the date bit wrong.

And I didn't point it out. Luppy used it as a reason why I might be wrong when I said it will be after the grand final.

Wakefield Trinity • Bradford next.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Looking forward to this one, I know we can do this - come on Trim !
DP knows the ground/pitch, he says its a tight pitch, anyone that's been to Bradford many times knows the corners in goal Ares are quirky, they rise up high & catch teams out when kicked causing ball bobble roll back & predictable bounce but only to those that play it regularly, so here we go here we go, up the Trin !!!

What was the drama between Burgess and Myler about?

Was it something to do with Hull not allowing them to have all their interchanges due to an oversight by Warrington.
Wire were docked an interchange due to a mix up with the announcement of their squad I think.

That does worry me though.
I heard it and cringed a bit.

He (or someone in his team) needs to be all over the IMG criteria. And his statement here implies he is not.

Seriously, how do you get that from one sentence in a radio interview? He quite obviously is all over the IMG stuff which is why he's meeting with IMG in the first place... And by the way go look on the website, they are posting articles on each of the IMG criteria, which I've only see us do (and cas very poorly). Читать дальше...
