Got a lovely tour of the dressing rooms and other facilities within the Neil Fox stand. Really enjoyed the night and the news. Also got something confirmed but keeping my Trap shut for now.

Yes he looks a great prospect but is he ready for 27 games in 2025?

Wigan showing how it should be done.
Dominating forwards tearing holes in the KR`s pack, half backs running the game and backs with pace who can score from anywhere on the field.
I mentioned it on the Wigan board about Ryan Hall`s honest appraisal at half time and not wanting to blame the ref.
Tipped Wigan for the treble start of the season and seen nothing from others to change my mind.

Thought this might be an interesting topic.
What one word best describes your view of the coaches we had / the way played?
No right or wrong.
I'll reserve judgment on Sam because he's not been through a season yet or had fans turn on him (but did initially put 'special' down after listening to him on a podcast and then 'hopeful').
Powell chaos
Price dour
Smith professional
Lowes wrong
Cullen passionate
Plange unfortunate
Andreson... Читать дальше...
Is everybody having problems? We do seem to have low numbers using the site. What is going on? Even this has taken a long time to write.

Despite all the injuries and still only been able to name 19 players (two of which I doubt will play as they player for the reserves on Thursday and haven't made their debut yet) we should still be able to name a strong 17.

Seems underwhelming for a billionaire. Should have signed Butterworth from Rovers a far better player.

Great day of rugby so far, 3 really good games of rugby, bet Leigh and Cas wish they got Armstrong and Iro, both look really good young players and little chance of them coming to SL now.

It would be an interesting clash of styles. The 05/06 team had a smaller, more mobile pack with a lot of flair and played an expansive game. The 16/17 team was much bigger and used that to full advantage. They overpowered teams who couldn't handle the physicality.
I actually think our best team of the summer era was 2004. There were some incredible players in that squad. But injuries took their toll and Wakefield's performance in the playoffs was arguably their best ever in SL. Читать дальше...

They’ve not had an academy licence, although they’re pushing for one. Is that even something for which a first team coach is very responsible? If you’re not a fan his recruitment record that’s a bit of a worry, given that Hull’s is now following it so closely, having just changed the best before date.

Fwiw, I don’t think Lam would have been a great fit for Hull. That said, I think his re-signing for Leigh is good news for them. Читать дальше...

I really rate Walker.
We have zero attack at the minute and our play has no unpredictability, stretch or movement.
With better options in the halves and hooker I really think he could shine; especially in broken play and if he gets the ball with a bit more space.

Good player. I like him and i know Leigh were tracking him as a possible replacement for Amone.
Hoping we keep Amone now that Lam has committed til 2028.
Good luck in the Semis. You will take some beating and hoping for a North West final !
