Kieftenbeld MOM for me (no replies)
Shame we had to revert back to the 2 holding midfielders in the second half after Gleeson went off. Thought Gleeson in front of the back four allowing Davis and Kieftenbeld a more freer role going forward, looked the way to go in the future and it proved old Worzel did actually have a Plan B. (Even if it was Rowetts old style of playing at the back and in the middle). Shame it has taken another 10-15 million pounds of players and 3 managers to realise that though. :D
Reverting back to 2 holding midfielders just emphasised our usual frailties in the second half. Hopefully we have some fit players in the squad that can play that formation in the future, that we used in the first half. Needs tweaking, Jota needs to learn to pass more often and not try and do everything himself, it just proves very wasteful and Nsue needs to stay tighter to his man, when defending. I know we don't have any other options for him at the moment really, but he does look the weak link at the moment.
But otherwise a much happier experience watching Blues for a change, especially in the first half.
