Only seen a short clip of yesterdays press conference, but seems David Davis is our new captain. Unusual for a new captain to be dropped, so seems he will become a regular name on the team sheet for the foreseeable then. Personally from what I have seen his performances, this season he hasn't done anything to warrant automatic selection (along with many others). Also shows how many true leaders we have in the group of players at Cotterills disposal at the moment.

At the German market. Drinking Mulled wine.
KRO - enjoy the weekend.
Just caught up with the first episode of series 4.
Cracking start. Two leading characters going down a la Sonny at the outset.
The 'go to the mattresses' in Small Heath bit is a something of a gangster cliche, used in the Godfather and more recently The Sons of Anarchy, but this looks like it could be the best series yet.

Yeah I don't think he's a managerial genius, but he has enough about him to give them a lift and get them up the league, he's a reasonably good organiser and can create some team spirit, that can go a long way.

Blues boss Steve Cotterill says that if Blues can get amongst the points over the next week it would put a new complexion on everything. There are nine points to play for in the space of seven days, starting with Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest, before Blues travel to Middlesbrough on

Steve Cotterill says the international break has given him the opportunity to work on his players' confidence and fitness, after a disappointing run of form.Blues headed into the break on the back of a 2-0 away defeat at Barnsley, a result which saw them drop into the bottom three. And with an improv

3 wins in a week up to mid table then kick on (tu)
What formation best suits us?
I was thinking about the England set up and how Zola had us play, and they both played some cracking football but injuries savaged it.
England play 3-4-2-1 with 3 ball playing centre backs, 2 wing backs, 1 playmaker and 1 defensive midfielder, 2 attacking midfielders to run at the defence then one target man forward with poacher abilities.
Zola played 3-6-1 with no shape or specific attributtes, just 3 centre backs, 2 wing backs, 4 centre mids and 1 striker. Читать дальше...

it was always going to be that way. when you miss most of the important characters out of the story completely then it's never going to be great. plus it's a king adaptation to screen, you can count on one hand the decent ones.
