When we play dingles..... (19 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Would you ...

a] Setup defensively and let them more or less have free for all to come onto us.
b] Go at them from the start, leave yourself open but really try to score a couple (or score more than them).

I'd say the latter.
The argument against that of course, is if goes horribly wrong it could be another 6 niller.

To counter that though, i'd rather see us have a fecking go at them and lose than sit back, do very little and lose anyway.

Confidence.... (no replies)

Small Heath Alliance

severely lacking throughout the whole team being terrified of fecking up a pass a tackle or God forbid a shot on goal. Most of this due to the fact that us lot are waiting almost hoping for these feck ups to happen so we can all have a pop! Clap/Cheer the good things aswell as the bad to a certain extent as at least maybe the players may feel less on edge and do what they are paid to do play the game naturally.

Jota: Expensive flop?? (48 replies)

Not been on here for a while so excuse me if this subject has been covered before, i don't get to go to many games as i work weekends. I do watch on TV if possible and get there when i can, so can only comment on what i have seen.

Is it me or is Jota just not a player for Birmingham City, he looks like a ghost on the pitch? looks lost and for me not worth the money we paid for him, watch the goal on Saturday and he just watched Leon Clarke move into space and take his shot. The other... Читать дальше...

Is the defence. They are fighting so hard, in fact the whole team are, and apart from a few nervous moments have looked very solid.

Yes, we've conceded a few soft goals, but I attribute that to the relentless pressure put on the back line by the lack of ball retention further forward.

We seem to only concede one or two goals a game now rather than receiving a real drubbing; put a decent midfield in front of them and that will decrease even further.

Can anybody confirm whether you are allowed to take a smaller cabin bag as well as the normal 10kg one these days? I’m sure I read that they had recently stopped it.

Not that what they say and what they do on the day are the same thing, I know. Hate them with a passion, but needs must.

TIA.

Was in Leeds last week and was coming down a country lane where the limit was 30 and seen a police car with a copper outside his car shooting cars with a speed gun.
Obviously broke a bit soon as I seen him and was going about 40, but have just had a letter from North Yorkshire police saying i was doing 35 in a 30.
Now where do I stand with this as straight away I thought there is no photo evidence and I’ve never seen speed guns before only cameras.
I’ve googled this and there are loads... Читать дальше...

Jutkiewicz (34 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Cost us 2 points today without a shadow of a doubt!

To not make the pass to N’doye late on in the first half (which surely even N’doye would have buried) was criminal. Then he basically tackles himself on the edge of Sheffield United’s box, they get the ball back, run down the other end and equalise!

Why he’s on the team is beyond me! He doesn’t hold the ball up, he very rarely bring others into the game, he can’t run, offers no goal threat and for decent defenders he’s dream to play against. Читать дальше...
