Re: Villa fans at Wembley

Small Heath Alliance

Agreed. Not too bad. Normally can’t be bothered with England. That said I am taking my youngest lad to the Brazil game on Tuesday. He has been pestering me to go to a game at Wembley for ages. My eldest went there for the first time for the Carling Cup final. The Younger one loves football. Eats breathes and sleeps it. He’s really upset about our dire situation at the moment.

Agree with most said here about the players attitudes etc. Playing for England should be so important players... Читать дальше...

Evening Pop Pickers

slim pickings for me this week, too bastard busy to be listening to pop music, you won't hear anything better than these 3 bastards this week though

Here Lies Man. Big claims being made for this lot, and some nonsense being said, but, beyond doubt, they make an impressive racket. A hugely impressive racket. Touring next year, small venues, small prices, big deal

The Professionals Record made by Cook and Jones of the pistols as it all went tits up, redone and rereleased with different players, mostly. Читать дальше...

Small Heath Alliance

150PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel S Line.

Mrs Grandad is having a midlife crisis and has decided on the above mentioned vehicle as her next set of wheels.

Never drove an Audi before and only drove a cabriolet abroad in sunnier climes.

Anybody on here able to offer any info on the Audi A3 Cabriolet?

Oh and it has to be navy blue :-)

A success. A free thinker. A Brummie. An ex-Blues player. Got to be worth thinking about as a future manager.

What Position Do You Play and What Blues Player is Most Like Your Playing Style? (54 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I play in a local league, 2 divisions of 20 teams from the local engineering division.

When i came in to the team 4 years ago we were losing every week by 10 to 15 - 0 in the 90 minutes.

I've taken captaincy/manager responsibility this season and we are currently 6 games in and unbeaten. Picked up a 3-2 win tonight to make it 18 points.

I play as the lone striker whose sole role is to hold the ball up and run at the defence. I definitely play like Vassell without the injuries... Читать дальше...

Brilliant. I’m sure I played in this team. East Berks Div 6. I was LM as only left footed player. Always liked Taylor, Lazaridis even Maghoma etc. Like other left footers (literal, not metaphorical) on here. My personal favourite was Kevin Dillon. Always played on the left by Jim Smith though he wasn’t naturally left sided. Apparently he didn’t really like playing there but did bloody well nevertheless.

If you had the chance to join the village people would you take it, think about it they are known all round the world,so you will be travelling just like a pop group, fans will be going crazy and most of all it looks a good laugh really. I would be the builder i think, its a bit more manly.

Win 1.0 or lose 5.4? (10 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

If you had the choice to either watch a dull paint drying game 1.0 win every week or an exciting 5.4 loss every week what would you choose. I'd go with the 5.4 at least youve had some excitement.
