Underworld formed out of a band called Freur. Freur originally didn't have a name, but represented themselves by a squiggle. The label said it needed a pronunciation so they suggested Freur.
Sounds couldn't be bothered with such nonsense and called them Elephant with a Stick of Rhubarb or Sperm Hitting a Wall.
