I have fonder memories of Jon McCarthy than Larsson
He got married in Small Heath too. Lovely article [www.independent.co.uk]
As for Larsson being best number 7....he is no Alan Ainscow.......and he's a long way from being the best number 7
Nothing makes you prouder as a blues fan than watching former Birmingham academy graduates do well. Weve had the likes

There wasn't, little or nothing. Probably why nobody ever played him.
Despite the above, I wish the lad well.
Well its obviously all subjective then, but many people on here will agree with me
There wasn't, you're getting very good mixed up with OK

Kenny Lowe on his debut from about thirty yards
There was 3/4 games under Clark where he looked very good indeed, Burnley away being one.
Luntala didn't, Tom Williams didn't either I don't think - he did hit the bar with a thunderbolt at Norwich though.
Robinson scored at Leicester in the FA Cup when we lost 4-2.
There wasn't, little or nothing. Probably why nobody ever played him.

The other highlight of this is if Brucey isn't doing well by Oct/Nov, and they are still close to the FFP limit after the summer ins and outs, then they won't be able to pay him off.
So who do we think will be challenging next season?
The 3 teams relegated from the PL will have bags of money via the parachute payment system but I actually think they will be in the mix without doing a Newcastle.
Sheffield Utd and Bolton will be stronger than many promoted from League 1 but the latter's money problems may impact. Then we have Bradford or Millwall - both would struggle in my view.
Not yet time to predict outcomes as there is a long close season ahead... Читать дальше...
I can see Sunderland doing a vile - mid table struggle. 'Borough I think will be strong, possibly top two strong, Hull could be another Vile too.
As for us - no idea, same with the Vile, though I think their charlatan of an owner and his money problems will come home to roost.
If Brentford could get some consistency they may be a dark horse. When they are on it they look a really good side.
I think that the comments show just what a tough call the championship always is.
If asked to name the clubs you think will finish top 6 in he prem next season I expect we would all say the same but this championship is a totally different animal to call.
There will be teams that will improve and others that will just be a massive disappointment, some will spend wise on a small budget and be up there while others will piss a fortune up the wall and totally implode.

With the news of B6's woes and those of Bolton, do we think that a club will go out of business anytime soon and if so which one?
My answer if no as there is always a fix for even the pest of basket case but if one was to suffer this I would go for Coventry.
I think Fleetwood went out of business in the 80s or 90s and reformed to what they are now?

He was playing up an age group for England when he was nowhere near our team.
Patrick Vieira used to come and watch him all the time when he was in the team under Clark, when Vieira was running the Man City U23's
He was (is?) highly rate within the game, but there's clearly an attitude / application thing....he's had 2 loans that have been terminated early, every manager who has had him has spoken about him needing to try harder. Читать дальше...
