Sat at work right now with the curse of uncooked prawns for last nights tea doing wonders to my gut.

Food poisoning usually takes 36 hours to manifest. It's what you ate on Sunday you need to look at.
If you really do have food poisoning I think it's a no brainier that you can't be at work. Should either be at home, or if it get worse, in hospital on a drip.
