Mate, it's owned by a company called Trinity Mirror who have hundreds of other local papers and together are losing money hand over fist.
Their solution is to have journalists on all their websites, which are identical in technical structure by the way, writing as many stories as they can to get punters to see the ads.
The journalists do this by splitting stories up into lots of tiny slices, each of which is thin as crap, and to use headlines that... Читать дальше...
Was genius.
I just checked, Ipswich played24 cup games as well as league matches that season.
But get this.. they lost six of their last 8 league games in the league!!!
That's relegation form not champions!

Also they were close to a treble, UEFA they won, lost in fa cup semi to CITEH, then second in league!
Lifted this from a national white van radio station and it got me thinking.
Instantly I thought of the Wembley wins, playoff victories and the 3-0 win against the Vile in our first Premier League derby. All pretty obvious.
I also vividly remember a game against Grimsby when they didn't create a chance yet beat us 0-1 with a heavily deflected cross, I remember a Grimsby fan with a blow up fish wavering around his head for 90mins. Why its iconic for me was because I dragged all... Читать дальше...

Surprisingly well, i let most but the most obvious things go and had no issues. Was thanked by the team that turned up with a man short and no subs for being lenient on them.
Is amazing though how even 8/9 year olds clearly pick things up of the TV - accusations of diving, etc
Couple of comedy moments with players not knowing rules - giving a corner and they ask for which team ? Throwing the ball in one handed ? A players catching the ball in the middle of the park.
Yea remembered that as well bordesley, and Brendan bat son gifting wither the winner with dodgy back pass Grrrrr

Hark at this one, thinks he's too good for Aldi double concentrated!
I've never had a problem at London Bridge either
I'll always remember Tatts saying to me in about 2002 that Trinity Mirror won't be happy until it's an eight page pull-out somewhere else. Can't imagine it'll be long til that happens.

Apparently Rob is still in Tamworth A and E at the moment undergoing a rather delicate procedure which involves the removal of a whistle from his rectum area.
He's retired from reffing too.

Blackcurrant Ribena.
Tilbrook must be 60 but his voice still holds up and he doesn’t hold back. The harmonica was a great addition to Labelled With Love. Bloke was a bit of a cliche tho, swap the fedora for a pork pie and he’s Elwood’s uncle. Sound was a bit drum heavy with other issues throughout the set but they nailed it.
Bold set too. They could’ve stayed safe with the old standards, which the audience lapped up, but almost half the set was new material. Some of the new stuff was really strong - best songs from them in years. Читать дальше...
