Was the doc called Fats Domino and the Birth of Rock & Roll?
Love a bit of Fats. He invented Ska music too (tu)

A lot of shops are already selling Christmas lights, decorations and other shite festive things.
Like guitar playing (thankfully) it doesn't have to be a gymnastics exercise. It's about the notes, of course, but it's about the soul and feel. I watched a great Fats Domino documentary a few days ago, and listened to a live version of Blueberry Hill. Relatively simple, but the way he did it was that soulful, it was wonderful.
I can't find the clip - I can find plenty of the Ed Sullivan Show recording, but not the one that I'm thinking of.
There's also a vid doing the rounds again of Lalah Hathaway singing a chord and people freaking out and saying how amazing it is etc. Karl Denver was doing it 50 odd years ago.
Call that a fight?

That's sensational, well done! I ran it in 3:52:16.
As for Holdsworth MaraSonner's time, I'm still closing my jaw in awe.
Aldridge road great barr.
Congrats to everybody who ran today.
I used to love running and did 3 marathons, with my best time being 3 1/2 hours.
I paid the price this year with too much training with a hip operation, but saying that since the operation I feel like a new person and no pain.
I saw a bit of the X-Factor a week or so ago. As usual there was some young girl giving it the full Whitney and getting praised to the heavens. Next up was a young girl who hit and held the notes perfectly - a genuinely talented singer with superb technique. Guess who the 'judges' preferred...?
It's like praising someone for managing to hit the bullseye once in every ten shots with a blunderbuss but ignoring the person who hits it every single time, and from any angle, with a throwing star.

Had a great ref yesterday for my lads u9s. He was mid 40s, obviously been doing it for years, had confidence, told the players if they did a foul that was a bit much, told one lad 'don't walk away when I'm talking to you'. Actually had the respect of the kids. Very impressive.
Usually we have a 16 year old lad who's scared to say anything, let alone make a major decision. Comes with experience I guess. Читать дальше...
Yes, I think the meaning is 'For this fixture, a previous booking history is required dated back from the 2016/17 season or before'.
They wrote all the right words, but not necessarily in the right order, as Eric Morecambe might have said.

Agreed.
Always has to be one person for people to moan about on here.
He was fine. He did what he had to well enough defensively and going forward stretch the play.
He is getting a lot of stick this season despite still being involved in most of our goals
Having a right back made a big difference as well

His post match interview on Talksport was quite interesting.
He freely admitted that the Derby job is in his opinion the biggest.
He intimated that, as he has lived only 10 minutes away from the Derby piss pot for the past 25 years, it was his ultimate target (dream) and he has now realised his ambition .
That's ok Rowett but fekk me do I wanna see you squirming in any future situations where you are up against us.
