I was 9 at the time and sat in the railway end.. I could have swore game was played on boxing day, but records suggest it was the 27th. Very grainy memories of the day shame I was to young to really appreciate it, I think there was crowd trouble, but remember it being worse the season before when Ron Saunders had just taken over and it kicked off on the kop and my Dad got us moved into the railway..
Sam Adams Octoberfest.
Genuine question, as I do.
Never want anything to do with them anyway, but when I do cop for one, I find they never know what they are talking about.

Not a big cider drinker but Cornish Rattler for me.
Sainsbury's vintage cider is a nice drink too at about £2 for a litre and if you look at the label it's brewed by Weston's.
So you know better than a whole nation?
Ipswich didn't gift it, I think they played something like 27 more matches that season, they just ran out of legs. I think we knocked them out of the League Cup.
Liverpool's fault. They dominated for a decade and had one season in which they were shit. Had it been another then Watford or Southampton could have won the title.
That and the bastard shitwank linesman who flagged Bertschin offside at Vile Park when it was 0-0. Had that been given we could have hung on.
