The usual debates will rumble locally about who deserved what but, in summary, neither Birmingham City nor Aston Villa can really complain. This 125th derby between the two clubs was as brisk an affair as anyone might expect but lacked the quality to earn one of them clear superiority. The point was

Great first half performance and a brilliant start to the second. We faded and perhaps Steve was too hesitant in making changes. Jota should have finished and we should have scored from the ball in from Jota. I wonder if that got into the players' heads - thinking we'd blown our chances.
All in all, a good performance and a great reaction after that millwall shambles. Pissed that we didn't get the win as I f&cking HATE the chunts. I hope they crash and burn. I f&cking despise them.

I thought Gallagher had a couple of nice touches but I agree, he didn't seem to know his position. Confidence I would say, makes the wrong decisions too often. I think you could say this about the whole team. We need to start going at teams and believing in ourselves because it feels a little bit like we're hoping for one bit of magic (ala Cardiff) and then holding on and that's not going to get us to where we need to be.
