Have I missed something? I heard about Walsh, Brammall & Stockdale but where is Lowe?
Whats happened to him?

Small Heath Alliance

Passed away this morning after a short battle with cancer after struggling for years with mental health issues. Had a tough life tbh, glad he’s at peace. He kept right on, fought to the end whilst tired and weary and has hopefully reached an happier abode, blah blah blah :D

A few on here already know but some others don’t.
We’ve had our ups and downs over the years and have had loads of family issues recently, culminating in me and the missus doing almost everything for him for 3... Читать дальше...

Have we ever produced a world class player? (9 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Having an argument with a few mates, who said that Blues have never produced a world class player, I hit them with TF as our solitary one, but they weren’t convinced he was world class.

So... have we produced any?

Asbestos related Cancer (8 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

A family member got the devastating news last week. Further tests this week have confirmed, this is asbestos related lung cancer and is incurable (chemo is an option to delay it only).

There is no doubt where the asbestos exposure came from, they spent approx 30-40 years working at Birmingham airport in asbestos filled spaces as an electrician.

The family is pretty angry right now about this, obviously back then the dangers were unknown, but the fact he gave his whole working... Читать дальше...

Strong support (12 replies)

Went to see ABC at Symphony Hall last night, who were excellent. Supporting them was Kid Creole and the Coconuts who were absolutely excellent too. I can't remember two such great performances on one show. Normally the 'warm up' are weaker, but last night both were terrific.

Baggies and football in general (25 replies)

I cant believe what I heard on the radio this morning.

Baggies fans calling in with the likes of...
"He's ruining our football club"
"It's toxic"
"Pulis Gorra gew"
etc.

They had a good season last year. Now one season later it's gone a bit south, "he's gotta gew" and "he's dragging our club into the ground".

I mean this genuinely, the game has gone. Wolves getting all excited, for what? When it goes tits up they will be calling for Nuno's head. Читать дальше...

Getting on the players back (12 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

There's been quite a lot of it recently - where do you stand on it?

a) we should support them unconditionally at all times
b) if they are underperforming, they should expect what comes their way

Cheers SHA

b. within reason and after at least a fair bit of play.

To not react to feeble play is tantamount to condoning it.
