For me it's a straight up dry Martini. Lovely. Not at this time of the morning mind........

Have dabbled with a dirty Martini as well hits the spot on occasion it has to be said.

Need to try the Lemon Martini from the new Nigella cookbook though. Looks delish mmmmm

You??

All a bit sad isn't it? Saw a few at the villa game.

I bet there are a few SHA-ers who like to try and look like a 'top boy' but then will be watching Cbeebies when they get back home.

Long Island iced tea is surely the only non-faggot accompanying answer, with a ginger-infused nod to a Rusty Nail.

Big name teams not in the world cup (14 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I get the point that if you dont qyalify then you more than likely arent good enough but there are some big teams missing that im disappointed about....

Ghana, ivory coast, cameroon, algeria, united states, chile, netherlands, wales, austria, italy...

It will be nostalgic for teams like S Arabia, Iran, Egypt etc to play in the WC but they will just be canon fodder whereas the teams above are all more than good enough to get to the last 16/quarters

I've really enjoyed the sarcasm that's peppered the board today, some of it's been very funny. It's a bit like the old days (tu)

Birmingham meeting room/pub (24 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Hi,

I need to organise an away day for our Team that involves a meeting at the start of the day for a couple of hours leading into some incredibly fun activities that everyone will pretend to enjoy.

Can you give me a recommendation for someone where nice where I can book a side room for a meeting, with a projector in Birmingham city centre please?

Somewhere where we can get some drinks/coffee/breakfast as the meeting will probably be something like 10am-1pm.

Man Crush (60 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Thought I'd seek the wisdom of the SHA collective.

In the pub on Friday someone said they'd always had a man crush on the lead singer from A-Ha. If they were to try batting for the other side so to speak they'd go for Morton.

Apparently it's a thing this having a man crush.

I'd never heard of it.

Anyone on here come across the concept??
