No doubt that some of you will be overjoyed to hear about Balaclava clad locals, merrily slapping a few scousers around the town, last night.
Is there anyone on here with any experience of it?
If so could you please PM me, looking for a bit of advice.
The greatest day of my then 26 year existence. I missed Our second/ Gayle's first as I was having a pee, while walking back up the stairs to my seat I heard a roar. I asked a man who scored and he told me he did not know as he had not been down the blues for years but it was some big black bloke.
I missed the Walsall game in the cup run but saw all the others even managing to get a ticket for the Brentford away game using that ID scheme that Brady came up with.
Those were some bleak days as a Birmingham supporter. Читать дальше...
Do people on here associate the term exclusively with us? I know not everyone approves of it! I ask as I know Rangers fans use it and I heard an Evertonian on yesterdays radio scousefest call herself one. Football fans don't call themselves red, white or yellownoses. Why bluenose and should it just be for us?

If an innocent copped it, that's a shame. If not, thems the breaks.

It was 27 years ago today since John Gayle scored a double as Blues beat Tranmere 3-2 at the old Wembley Stadium to win the Leyland DAF Cup. (thanks to John Smullen for this)
Looking back it was a bit of a meaningless trophy, but it was Blues first visit to the Stadium in some 35+ years and it meant a hell of a lot to the Blues fans, and was a turning point for a club that had been in decline for 10 years at least.

I am not bothered, I refer to myself as a Blues fan though, never as a bluenose.
Real world fuel economy, not the shite the manufacturers spout.
I'll be changing my car some time in the next 8 - 10 months and fancy something a little different but within certain parameters. It has to be an automatic, large and practical with a high driving position, good loadspace, no boot lip and be economical to run. Don't give a monkeys about 0-60 or badge. I'm not sure there's much out there to better my current motor, a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso that returns just under 48mpg and can carry a full PA rig... Читать дальше...

BB King .. I love 50's and 60's BB but have never been too keen on the later Jazz and cabaret periods . However , I happened upon his final album " One kind favor " on good ol' You Tube , copied it to a disc and played it in the car all week .... it's almost as good as anything he ever did
