Re: Brazil v Switzerland

Not a bad total by our neighbours. 306-6, with Ben Cox looking a good player looking for a move to Bears? Back to the football.
The World Cup just isn't the same without the Sweaties. Had some great entertainment from them over the years.
Home before the postcards,so the old saying went. They actually thought they were going to win it in 1978.
I don't think I have ever seen anyone deliberately break the rules of golf to gain an advantage, shame on the USPGA for not disqualifying him.
A total lack of class from someone I used to admire.
Didn’t realise Switzerland were 6th in the FIFA rankings.
2-1 Brazil

Non existent so far. None draped over the barriers.
Is this a new FIFA ruling?
Will be interesting to see tomorrow
Supply issue. Cost of fabric has gone through the roof apparently ... Can't think why.

Germany 2-0 for me.

Would you? I go back and forth over her, but today she is looking delectable.

What level would you have go down the league pyramids to find the level where a top women’s football, rugby or cricket team can beat a blokes team?
Just watched a bit of the women’s ODI and I think a decent village team would beat the England ladies. Is this harsh or realistic?

I stand corrected. I was certain they worn hooped socks, however I have found a black and white image that shows Bob Hatton against West Brom in the mainly yellow and black band socks (or light and black).
As you get older the mind starts to go.

Inspired by Rab’s post (scuse the pun) on the Fathers Day thread.
I think I’m turning into a lawn bore. Just looking into scarifying which I’ve never done before, or weeding. Thing is my lawn is quite large and whilst it looks ok, I think it could look so much better. All I do at the moment is cut it, when it’s dry.
So tips please? Also it’s quite bumpy, do I have to roll it?
Sprinkle lots of Harpic- thats what we were scrubbed with after playing out on the Bombsite
