The bloke is 33!
He has carried this Portugal team for a decade. I can’t have the Messi argument anymore.
ALWAYS turns up on the big stage. Best there has ever been. And I don’t say that lightly.

Inspired by Rab’s post (scuse the pun) on the Fathers Day thread.
I think I’m turning into a lawn bore. Just looking into scarifying which I’ve never done before, or weeding. Thing is my lawn is quite large and whilst it looks ok, I think it could look so much better. All I do at the moment is cut it, when it’s dry.
So tips please? Also it’s quite bumpy, do I have to roll it?
I don't think I have ever seen anyone deliberately break the rules of golf to gain an advantage, shame on the USPGA for not disqualifying him.
A total lack of class from someone I used to admire.
To all you Dads. Hope you have a good one in front of the TV like me!

On a separate thread to Ronaldo, just how good did Spain look last night?
Their football was immense, especially the second half when they played a very good Portugal side off the park at times. Iniesta, Silva and Costa were superb, and Nacho's goal well.......
I know it's early in the tournament but can anyone see anybody matching or beating Spain?
Maybe, but it's like the old song which I think applies perfectly to Spain
"We're gonna score one more than you"
He could be a part of the the backroom staff

I'm going to make a bold statement.
I think he will do well at a club where the best passer of the ball isnt gleeson.

Doing lawns? DOING LAWNS?? Rabinda old son, this is OUR day. I'm doing feck all today apart from sitting on my fat ass watching football. I'm not even cooking dinner, which I usually do.

Surprised no one's picked up on this...on the HIV 'Pit of misery' thread (reply 596, page 40, dilly dilly)...someone claims to have heard off the staff that the word is it's admin this week for Vile.
One of you lot? or just bullshoite?

Would you rather see England win the World Cup or Birmingham win either champions league/Premier league. A lot of my vile mates say England but of course they’ve already won both even though most are born post 1995.
For me, Blues first. Always will be. I never celebrate an England goal like I do a Birmingham one. It’s more personal, it’s me. If England won anything imagine Broadstreet...
Saying that probably never see either in my life time but dream big aye? ;)
What level would you have go down the league pyramids to find the level where a top women’s football, rugby or cricket team can beat a blokes team?
Just watched a bit of the women’s ODI and I think a decent village team would beat the England ladies. Is this harsh or realistic?
