Re: Referee confirmed for the Derby County game
But we had Jeremy Simpson at Ipswich.
This is Simon Hooper, not Jeremy Simpson.

A realistic zombie programme ????
I'll give that a try though. You're not the first to say it's good.
Oh yeah, there are two rugby clubs. I'd forgotten the Rugby League club play there too. Cov United are also there, attempting to play on a pitch that resembles the surface of the moon.
Not that I’m aware of, this is the only website that it happens on.
Would love Khan to win, always been a fan and I reckon a prime Khan would have caused his some issues, but watching Khan in his last fight in Brum, he looked well past his best, so I'm not sure there's enough left in the tank, certainly not enough to beat someone like Crawford who really is exceptional. Crawford to win via late-ish stoppage.
Jeremy Simpson will take charge of Friday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Blues and Derby County at the St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium. So far this season, the Wiltshire-based official has refereed 27 games where he has produced a total of 87 yellow cards and four reds.Blues lost that ma

Presumably this follows the pattern of the Canelo fight where Khan looks good for 3-4 rounds with his handspeed and then eventually gets knocked out, but what do people think? Obviously not such a big size differential on this occasion. I hope Amir wins and then retires, just as I find Kell Brook so irritating.

News broke on Monday night that Middlesbrough Chairman Steve Gibson is demanding an investigation into the financial conduct of three clubs in the Championship. Gibson is unhappy at the way Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday and our chums from across the expressway have skirted the P&S rules.

Too many cooks and all that FB. Let's not forget UEFA and FIFA too!!
The PL and EFL are competitions and act as their own self-regulating bodies but under the FA ultimately.
While we have been talking about our Trevor, we have overlooked Bob Hatton’s 72 birthday last week.
Scored 58 in 175 appearances!
Never forget his quarter final winner v boro in 75!
Boro thought thier name was on the cup that year and always refer to bob as that bastard Hatton lol!
Third member of the best 8,9,10 combo I’ve ever seen in our colours!

Proper player.
Who could forget the Boro match, if you was there.
Come out of jail defiant, facing the press and saying he has no regrets and prison was the best month of his life ????
Mr Blue Sky
This, good mate of mine ( can’t tell you how I know) said the same thing, seemed a polite lad and regrets what he has done. Said he ant good a fight in him

With the EFL's incompetence shining through is it now time for 20 clubs to approach the premier league about a "division 2"? This has been muted numerous times before but the EFL is now so badly run in terms of the FFP / P&S rules and allowing clubs to "bend" them its just got to the point where they are a farce! Then there is the Bolton situation, the very thing these rules are meant to prevent. With the Boro complaining 3 clubs appear to have been let off have the EFL lost control?

As I've mentioned before, Phil Gartside was pressing for this. He thought two divisions of 16-18 would be a better deal overall for the game; spreading the wealth between 75% more clubs. At the time Bolton were pushing for the Europa, but he could see relegation would be cataclysmic for them - and indeed would be for many other clubs.
He couldn't get support because of general short-sightedness elsewhere.
In fact, a PL2 could help the lower leagues as well, because it would lower the need for billionaire backing. Читать дальше...

Nice to see the club support Paul Mitchell like this.
But seriously RIP.

Really hope it isn't Liverpool, will never here the end of it. Can almost see it now, every 'expert' wheeled out saying how great it is, special programs the lot.
Not much love lost for either on here but who would you rather see win the league this year? Or should that be who would you rather see lose?
Never really liked city and even less so since the money came along, no great fan of scousers either but think I'd rather see Liverpool sneak it if only because of Klopp.
Interesting read about the 1924 title race between Huddersfield and Cardiff:

Of most relevance / interest is the marvelous piece of sh1thousery Blues engaged in to stop Cardiff winning their only league title... perhaps we can raise this with them next season?
What if they play their Joker?
