If he went to Tottenham he’d be a good fit there, I think.
‘Good Championship Player ‘ is way off, though I would agree just how good he is remains a question mark. If Villa don’t progress that much this season an ambitious player would look elsewhere, if elsewhere is sufficiently interested. I watched a bit of the game against Tottenham, first half he and they were good. Second half I thought they were pretty dire.

I do not think playing Villa next season would be that bad. Their new owners, allegedly, have been shocked by how much money a football club soaks up. If they get relegated, there will be a fire sale and the owners will want it run on a shoe string
