League Cup
Been a really good round 9f fixtures to be fair. Ignoring the tosspots progressing. Oxford dicking West Ham is particularly funny. Just need Rochdale to win this shoot out.

Have just ordered a new Sky Box and unfortunately I'll lose everything that's currently on my existing planner.
I still have the away leg from Brugge on there so will be losing it,an amazing trip from every angle...
I've tried to locate a dvd copy through all the normal sources with no luck.
Is there anyway of transferring from the Sky box or alternatively anywhere I can get a dvd copy?
With or without onions?
Paul Ince was a pundit on some game the other week and he said this. It wasn't a slip of the tongue, he repeated it in his summing up.
"He went through and tucked it away in the bottom hand corner".

Their manager is getting close to Zola levels of success. It's hard to see how he has survived for so long. At least someone else is cocking things up, and they have the ideal scenario in theory: local businessman with billions who supports the club.
Wolves let me down for 200 quid when they lost to Braga. Serves me right.

i'm going not really bothered about not being able to go to the game but banning fans then letting kids in is a bit of a joke really isn't it? I'm normally a rationale person but can't see how they can think this is right?
Any tips for this evenings games?
I remember being at Ipswich in 1989 when we got beat 4-0, and there weren't many Blues at all. Also Grimsby for a League Cup game on a Tuesday night, and Southend also on a Tuesday night when we lost 4-0. Not many at either game. Apparently we took 92 to Sunderland for an Anglo Italian cup match. (wasn't at that one!).
You're welcome.
Undecided whether to drive or get train from St Pancras. Obviously driving would be a lot cheaper but does anyone know of ways to get a decent deal on the train? Travel Card for instance..
Thanks

I do know what you mean, the 5th placed team is pretty much always a whipping boy. South Africa are playing a 38 year old hooker at number 8 for their game against Namibia for example.
The difficulty is, how do you get more competition involved and the game going more global, if you shut the door for the top of the tier 2?
The cosy club at the top of the game have lots of advantages that they don't want to give up. In many ways it hampers the wider game.
