Sam Smith’s are a weird brewery. The bloke who runs it is a total law unto himself. They sell beer for two quid a pint, it’s good stuff and many of their pubs are excellent. But the bloke runs the firm like some roman emperor and is notorious for behaviour like this (though rarely so extreme).

No one was more surprised than me how well Southgate has done as England manager.
Our last World Cup campaign bettered expectations ( although ultimately didn’t achieve) and it was similar with our summer sojourn in Portugal ( feckin Var!)
So can we win this european championship in 2020?
I of course hope we can, I’ve been following England away since France 98 but not certain we are good enough, what views good , bad or otherwise have our Sha peeps got?

I seem to recall when I read about non-league that the number of teams playing grass roots football is falling. I wonder if there is a decline in the game at playing level below pro/semi pro level.
Those are great. I think generally the sporting facilities at local level are far superior to those in England. Ant town or village seems to be well provided for.

I was working nights last night and was hoping to watch it after midnight but it wasn’t showing as available ???? the missus is out tomorrow night though so it’ll be a few cans, a curry and watch it then ????
