We don't know if this was a phenomenal feat or not. It can only really be assessed when other athletes have competed with exactly the same support. I have a feeling that there could be a few that would run similar times. That's why this is a bit of an irrelevance. Competitive athletics has to be consistent.

Someone got me a ticket so I had to go. Too far away from the screen to see it but for me it was 3 1/2 hours too long.
Painfully slow, already seen much better 'mob' films and the political aspects of Jimmy Hoffa's actions were not really developed.
Started to get a bit annoyed when, after about 2 1/2 hours it turned into a meditation on old age.
Yeah I don't think he can possibly make a mafia film better than Goodfellas, Casino or Mean Streets. Sspecially one with actors he's been working with for nearly Fifty(!) years.
But Scorsese generally makes bloody good films,so I'll give a whirl on Netflix.
Bit of a queue getting directly out but great in terms of access to motorway.
