All Refs in this League are crap however the way he let most things go for both sides made it a more enjoyable game.A lot of Refs would have dished out loads of yellows last night.

Seems to me that the mood has swung from downbeat to upbeat on Sha in recent weeks. I feel the same, still nervous on matchday (silly I know) but increasingly optimistic. Early days. But it seems like we are being treated to periods of proper foot(dong?)ball most games now. I think it's encouraging. Views?
Up to this point last season we were sat on 17 points having won 3, drawn 8 and lost just 2 games so we are currently 2 points better off at the same point.
We've scored 2 less and conceded 3 more which probably shows the impact of losing Adams and Morrison but I think overall its been a pretty solid first third of the season and as things stand I can't see us getting into any relegation problems but unless we can continue to perform as consistently as we have in the last 3 games I can't see us troubling the top 6 either. I went to the game feeling my usual mixture of fear and hope. I had witnessed a great performance in the previous home game against Middlesbrough but long years of supporting Birmingham City made me doubt Id see another one that evening I was also worried about Sunjic being suspended and was right

I know we paid for Crowley and Sunjic and they are tied to long contracts, both would already turn a profit on the investment we have already made but just a bit in the dark on Villalbas transfer.
