Re: Almost 36 years ago - Blues 2 vile 1

Thanks for that, I knew it was a while ago, Ian Handysides was only 27 when he passed and that was back in the 80's. Blues premature losses (Eamon Dolan) pale into insignificance compared to b6.

Last Minute Winners & Equalisers

Small Heath Alliance

This afternoon my son has had a session watching football on YouTube of last minute winners and equalises. Having sat in pubs down the seasons with me and my friends he’s had to listen about Stern Johns achievements whilst playing for us but when he came across this game I myself was made to sit and watch.

It was Motherwell v Hibernian from 2010, a 6-6 draw but our Juke has his own role within this game but I’m not going to spoil your viewing. Enjoy it like we did today. Stay safe & KRO.

Re: Who is at work/ school thread

Small Heath Alliance

I've been given the choice home or go to work. Trouble is work is in Wolverhampton in an office and production environment (300 people), yesterday on ITN they said outside London Wolverhampton was a U.K. hotspot for the virus. A few have decided to work from home but I overheard a couple of senior managers on Friday saying certain staff are taking advantage of the situation!
My wife is a Nursery Manager her mum owns the Nursery, they are extremely stressed as strictly speaking they have to... Читать дальше...

Will/ When will be in full lockdown? (22 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

So much has changed in our country over the last 10 days that it must only be a matter of time before a full lockdown is enforced.
There is no way they will allow for people to have the ability to drive up and down the country over the Easter holidays. Look at the masses that went to the cosst yesterday.

I believe we are not in shutdown already as they know cabin fever will be a consequence, and the closer they can get to Easter to then commence a full shutdown the better will be their plan. Читать дальше...

I don’t want to put others at risk mate and I don’t want to sound selfish, but I also rent so I have to find £700 every month alone, it’s very worrying times at the moment, basically waiting for the call to say sorry there is no work.

Of course we all pug some cash away, I’d like to think I’m one who declares most of my earning and recoups it with the tax rebate, which usually I leave til the winter for those quiet/weather related times, feel like I’m down a creek without a paddle at the minute.

Pele overrated you’re having a giraffe.

Brazilian football in pele’s hey day was miles ahead of anything in Europe hence the score lines when European champions played the South American champions.

Another thing people forget he scored over 1,200 goals something Messi and Ronaldo won’t even get near to.

Sorry but you are so wrong on that call.

Re: Italy Death total overtakes China

Small Heath Alliance

Sky’s daily report from Italy, was interesting this evening.

Their death figures aren’t exactly the full story.

The deaths at home or in care homes, aren’t being counted. It’s just the hospital deaths.

There was a family on, and when their father was taken ill, they believed from listening to the rest of the town, that once he went through the hospital doors, they would never get to see him again. So he died at home, unrecorded.

That must have been a hell of a decision to make.

What’s the opposite to panic shopping ? (118 replies)

I’ve took a different approach, and decided to clear the freezer, draw by draw ????

3 chicken breasts for today’s draw, they’re going in a Madras with some mushrooms.

Once the freezer’s done, I’m going to start on the cupboards ????

mad

If it was simply a case of panic buying they would not be hiring all these extra staff

People will be at home all day with their families. People will no longer be eating out. Fewer people will order takeaway at least until the summer when it might pick up again

Therefore more food is needed to be on the supermarket shelves for folks to bring into their house otherwise they are going to have to make weekly deliveries to millions of customers
