Plans to house athletes in new homes created in Perry Barr close to the Alexander Stadium have today been abandoned because of delays in building the Village cause by the Covid pandemic.
It was always a tight timescale, with the village not scheduled to be completed until shortly before the Games.
Athletes will now be housed at 3 venues: University of Birmingham, NEC and University of Warwick.
The building project in Perry Barr will go ahead, creating a load of new housing in the area.

Well it's well depressing reading how many shitholes are about these days so what about areas you've visited etc thats actually improved?
I'm from Belfast which has developed so much in the 2 decades since the Troubles ended to the point where it's unrecognizable from photos of just a few short decades ago. The city has seen a huge increase in investment as there is no danger of buildings being firebombed.
They build using glass nowadays, imagine that. It's very obvious from the architecture which buildings are pre and post peace process.

As there aren't many (15) I've taken the liberty of posting them all below, not including anyone who has only played a handful of games.

So it looks like Blues admin on Twitter only works evenings! Very strange goings only updating the first day back so late on. First day back after lockdown we were inundated.
I reckon we had a shed load of trialists and or signings not over the line there that they didn’t want to be shown, same with the back room staff. Hence only a few pics.
