I think he’s a nice bloke but I’m struggling to think of a worse keeper other than Gosney that has played regularly (more than 30 games) for Blues. Who am I missing? I’m not old enough to have seen Gary Sprake.
This time last week a lot were moaning about the length of time it was taking us to appoint Karanka. There are still three teams in our league without a manager
Bristol City are still waiting to appoint someone, as are Watford and Bournemouth. There are not even any strong favourites for any of those jobs either.
At least we can move on to the next phase and start building the squad now. Hopefully some quality players through the door soon.
Hughton + Bristol seemed a no brainer for both parties imo.
Now to get impatient about signings :)

I’m very interested in purchasing the book as I’ve never read one from Pat Van Den Hauwe but I’ve just gone on Amazon to look at purchasing it for my Kindle and it says there are two autobiographies one is Pat Van Den Hauwe - My Autobiography and the other is Psycho Pat - The Autobiography Of Pat Van Den Hauwe: Legend or Madman.
So which is the one to get that others have read. Thanks for your help in advance.

Apologies if I have missed it but does anyone know what the situation is with AK.
Is he in the UK isolating or if not here yet when is he due?
I know its not pre season but he will have plenty to keep him busy.
Was also thinking if the players have had any travel restrictions imposed on them eg no travel to countries without an air bridge etc.
Camp staying as back up keeper next season it seems ????
Do we think that the market as we know it will collapse due to covid finance etc or will it be a business as usual ?
my thoughts are that the marquee players will still command and get a premium but the jobbing pro and the older pro with little resale value are going to struggle for a pay packet anything like their last contract, i foresee players happy to sit out the last year or two on their current contracts.
i think for us its not so much about how much a player is going... Читать дальше...
You can get nearly 4/1 on Fulham. That seems very generous, though my knowledge of betting is limited. Worth a go?
Saying that, I hope Brentford stuff them.
We are looking. May have better options though unfortunately

Yeah agree with point 2....an eclectic mix of businesses indeed. Maybe there is a market for health-consciouss Chinese lottery players who travel a lot to Japan and Cambodia.

He wouldn't have fitted in with Bielsa.
Pressing the ball and moving it quickly are two traits not seen so far, in his play.

You must be! the ones I know have the same 'but we're Derby County' attitude that vilers have about vile, they seem to think just because they were good in the 70's they should be in the top 6 of the prem now - weird bunch!
