Following on from the post linking Blues v Derby from 1974, and getting a little restless waiting for the Bayern PSG game to really get going, I just came across this (second half of Blues v Norwich - must win last game of the season from 73-74.

Only a few minutes of the match in this clip from when we were 0–1 down and staring relegation in the face, but it’s got the goals that saved us that year. And yes, that is Blues dining YNWA- used to sing it a fair bit back in those days... Читать дальше...

That's it, they've said it's been cagey but both sides have had chances. I wouldn't have argued against that being a penalty at then end then either. He took him off balance.

Absolutely pissed myself the first time I saw this and it was prime time BBC1 as well.

When you watch all of the episodes its good fun just spotting all of the Blues stuff in the various scenes.

Getting a bit concerned about lack of activity in transfer market. Appreciate that it about getting the right players in and not just making up the numbers but with 2 weeks to go we seem to be desperately short. Either Karanka is ultra confident about getting his selected targets in before start of season or must think he can a lot more out of the team than the previous manager.

I am honestly nervous because even with AK influence currently we are a bottom 6 team on paper even with everyone fully fit and we have a threadbare squad to boot.

Yes I do think he will get more solidity and more out those players we have and I am not of fan of blooding loads of new signings once the season has started.

Talk of anything other than a real struggle at the foot of the table is wildly optimistic in my opinion

Worth watching, if nothing else, for the 26th minute; 26.10 is good; but 26.40 ish is very good indeed.
