Re: UK Regions
I would say the North starts past Stoke, Cheshire, Sheffield and across to North of Lincoln. The South begins where people can't say Birmingham but say Birninam instead.

Right, so we want to acknowledge all the players who did something special in their time at Blues, you can choose absolutely anyone from Cesear Llwellyn onwards!
By the way for the smart arses its a Given that Richie Moran, Tyler Blackett & Colin Robinson are shoe-ins

Obviously, I haven't got better things to do on a Monday.....but I was telling the good lady yesterday that when I was a lad in the mid 70's my old man was a steward down the Blues for a couple of years.
When he got there around half one ish I was dispatched to the "broom/paint cupboard" at the end of the old railway stand (nearest the clock) in between the two tiers.
In this cupboard 2 ladders with a plank of wood between the top steps was there for the lads of the stewards to sit... Читать дальше...

Always great to hear fans personal experiences of Blues throughout the years.
We have all done or seen crazy/funny things that just would not happen in todays sanitised world.
Fans opening gates at various grounds, climbing over the roof at oxford, being lifted over walls, watching from a vantage point outside of a ground etc etc and the list goes on.
Love em
I'm in my twenties so would like to gain an appreciation of how good this countries strikers of the past really are and how they fair against modern day strikers.
Rank the following:
Trevor Francis
Gary Lineker
Harry Kane
Wayne Rooney
Kevin Keegan
Michael Owen
Alan Shearer
Jimmy Greaves
(I've probably forgot a few obvious ones from the past so feel free to add them to your list ????)
Greaves
Shearer
Francis
Kane
Lineker
Owen
Keegan
Rooney
A lot of these clubs with good gates would probably get more if allowed. Restrictions are in place to limit the crowd.
Non league clubs around here, Stourbridge, Lye Town, Halesowen Town have been getting healthy numbers too.
Talking to people that are experiencing non league football for the first time in ages, they are all enjoying it. The banter with players, the old fashioned feel to it, and the surprisingly half decent quality have taken a few friends by surprise.

Hope Pederson played well in his 45 minutes against the Faroe Islands.
And hope that gives him a boost for our future league games starting against Sheff Wed .

After hearing a number of people up north complaining to be unfairly targeted over Corona-virus restrictions by a supposed London-centric government, it got me thinking where does the north start & where does the south end, where does the south-west start?.
South - Border somewhere just to the south of Northampton, running on a slightly curving line just to the south of Stratford upon Avon.
Mids - Again border just to south of Northampton finishing just south of Stoke, border somewhere just above Stone/Uttoxeter. Читать дальше...
Watching Bertie running down the wing with some foreign johnny and then Bertie decks him and puts in a superb cross for Ken Leek who thunders it in to the net is the Inter Cities Fairs Cup memory I treasure the most. Bertie a true Blues legend.

Sorry if this has already been discussed. Finally watched the documentary on Netflix last night.
Christ almighty. Really does provide a bleak picture for us over the coming decades. My partners was crying most the way through it and although I kind of know this planet is verging on catastrophe, some of the stat's really were quite shocking. I think the one that surprised me was that they're predicting ice free summers in the north pole by the 2040's!
