For some reason we seem to think full backs should do that job now. Fast wide players who can go outside the defence and cross the ball will always be loved by any forward who loves scoring goals.

There was a mail interview with Karanka yesterday about this. Karanka said some players you sign from clubs where they've been training on their own or with the kids but that's not his style. He said everyone trains together as a group and Kief and Davis are fit.

Now we have seen the closure of the transfer window until the new year how is everyone feeling about our chances this season??

I think we've gone about our business very well and have the most balanced squad we've had in a number of years. Might have liked one big signing up front but other than that. Very happy with the squad.

I was wondering if these 2 signings are 100% Karanka's idea and on his want list or if the decision to sign/loan them was somebody else's at the club. Depending on who's decision it was, would show who really is in charge of this sort of thing at the moment.
