When did we bring him in as GK coach? Has Scott Bevan been pushed out or dropped down to the U23’s?

352.
Same back 5.
Gardner, Sunjic and MSJ.
Leko and Hogan.
On the bench: Prieto, Kief, Juke, Sanchez, Bela, Boyd Munce, Dacres Cogley
No surprise there
Former Liverpool youth Mikel San Jose made his full debut for Aitor Karanka's side in a goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers in the Championship and has impressed Blues fans

Doug Stamper
I think he looks like he could be a effing brilliant signing.

as the preferred formation? assuming all players are fit, its tricky, this.
4-2-3-1 gives room for a "no.10" role, ie Toral, or Crowley if he ever escapes the memorial cupboard. but that formation also brings in at least one of Bela and Sanchez by proxy, who cut inside for a living.
3-5-2 in its QPR Away guise gives us good conventional width with the wing backs, and means we can play Leko up front with Juke or Hogan... but no room for the no.10 role, and less game time for Sanchez especially... Читать дальше...
Funny how the mind works. My old dad is seriously struggling with remembering stuff so having range of tests, scans etc. Get him talking about the Blues tho and he’s suddenly switched on again.
Sure we’ve all got games we’d rather forget but looks like Altrincham at home might be one of the few things we retain as we get older. Scary really.
Obviously worrying but does throw up the occasional gem. At doc’s yesterday quack asked my dad who current PM is. His answer - Boris...Karloff!
Have just lost my old man! Still alive but he’s gone! Ex Navy, Fireman. So sad
Which do we prefer?
Last seven of last season
won 0 drew 1 lost 6 for 3 against 15 points 1
First seven of this season
won 1 drew 4 lost 2 for 3 against 4 points 7
I think it's very very clear that we have made a huge defensive improvement. We're still struggling for goals BUT there have been signs throughout the first 7 games of the season that we're playing much better and look like a team who are fighting for each other.

Oh, thought it was the players we had were good enough yet it was the coach's fault ????
As someone else has pointed out the end of last season went worse only after, overall, Pep said he was leaving.
I can't recall us going this long without a goal in open play. It's got to break soon ????
Just abit of fun, who is going to be our top scorer this season and with how many?
I'm going, Juke with 11.
Birmingham City were held to a 0-0 draw at Queen's Park Rangers but head coach Aitor Karanka saw reasons to be positive at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium

1) A matchstick
2) A drawing pin
3) A penny coin
Any more?
A team mate?

Tao Geoghegan Hart (British) & Jai Hindley (Aussie), both in their early 20's and on exactly the same time after 19 stages and they face off in a Time Trial on the final stage tomorrow. Been a fabulous race so far especially the Stelvio stage (visually and racing)
Got to fancy Teo to win the Time Trial, just needs to keep up the effort and avoid any mishaps and hopefully another British rider will come away with a Grand Tour win. Only fly in the ointment Jai starts last so needs to... Читать дальше...
