The way he celebrated against us he can eff off and that's coming from a c woodian who knows him personally.

The departure of Maikel Kieftenbeld to Millwall has caused no end of angst on Blues social media. The loss of the Dutch midfielder has been keenly felt, with many thinking its a huge mistake to let the player go. Is there any possibility that something positive can come out of this transfer?

The point is is that in our situation, we haven't really got time to bed in another teams youngster. He has to make an impact or there seems little point in bringing him in to warm his arse on our bench. The pressure is created by the situation.

I don't get this snarkiness about the 'retiring the shirt' thing.
Now that we've gone American and had personal numbers rather than a proper (in my view 1-11) why shouldn't we equally follow the American example and 'retire' numbers when a special player leaves the club.
Jude is - and was - a special player. We'll never see his like again. Really don't see the problem in retiring #22 - rather it's an ongoing mark of respect to a special talent and special bloke. Читать дальше...

I don't think the problem is the rules confusing old geezers like us Albert, it's the fact that they appear to confuse the heck out of the actual officials who are supposed to know them - interpret them and apply them in a split second.
On overload today, maybe the Twitter kids have got bored of homeschooling.
Regardless of how they’re likely “fake news” would he actually be an improvement on what we’ve got?
One goal from open play this season I think I read.
With just over half of the season gone, we want your ratings for Blues players so far this season. Simply rate each player below with a score out of ten and then submit your ratings...

Blues beat West Ham at home in the Carling Cup semi-final.
Can't believe it's been 10 years to be honest.
Speculation continues that Gray is on the move - Palace, Monaco, Benfica interested - according to BBC. Transfermarkt values him at £10.8m. Sell on was reported at 15% so just over £1.5m incoming?
I know the market is bad and it's probably just agent talk but I am trying to look for positives...
Am I the only one who would like their centre forwards to score goals and centre midfielders to be able to pass the ball?
We have the lowest chance creation in the league - this comes down to having the 4th lowest pass completion. Hogan a better option due to being more clinical when a chance finally arrives. But we need to create a lot more.
That’s why we need to overhaul the midfield before whoever is striker will get a fair run. Sunjic equally responsible - but not as easy to shift. Читать дальше...
What was the biggest giant killing/shock we've had in our history? Ignoring the League Cup Final (and obviously anything in the 70s when we were the best team in the world and were getting 45000 fans per week because 15000 Villa fans used to come when they were away).
5-1 at Newcastle was good in recent times.
Obviously not a cup tie but we did beat Man Utd during their treble winning season of 98/99.
Technically, they must be the most successful club we've vanquished.
The moving on of Dutch Mike has left many questioning the decision making of the board. This is what theyve had to say

Tired And Weary was the first, lasted a dozen or so issues, you could even buy it in Waterstones. It was the best of them, good writing and tried to get a supporter movement going. Faded away after we won the Leyland Daf as there was less discontent.
The Heathen was the London supporters’ club one.
The Zulu was pretty rubbish.
I'm trying to do research into Blues fanzines. I've only ever been aware of Made in Brum, but a cursory look on ebay shows me there has been loads:
Made in Brum
The Heathen
Wake up Blue
The Zulu
Beaunanza (a lot older than the above - from the 60s)
Tired and Weary
The Penguin
Blow football
Singing the Blues
... any more?
These seem to be a bit novel to me, very much replaced by blogging and social media but I do quite like the DIY nature of them. Читать дальше...
Haven't drunk since July 2018. Just kinda stopped when the missis was away for a few weeks and felt odd boozing on my own. Then just carried on. Also that Adrian Chiles documentary about his drinking was on at the time. Used to love a drink when the kids were young - it was like a reward for getting them to sleep. Yeah it is boring not drinking and awkward socially but I don't regret it. But if you fancy a drink, do carry on. I am more than happy for others to partake.
When I first saw him I was amazed and so proud he played for us. He was fantastic.
