One of customers gave me a bottle, when I say bottle it was a miniature bottle of home made damson gin. Just had a nip and I must say it was very nice. I've got some rhubarb in the freezer and I'm going to make a rhubarb gin over the weekend.
Anyone concoct their own recipes? I've got some black currants in the freezer as well. Might give them a go if the rhubarb goes well.

Spoke to Blues boss Aitor Karanka for talkSPORT at lunchtime- he is hoping another attacking player will come in before Mondays 11pm transfer deadline. I asked about speculation re Lukas Jutkiewicz leaving and he said he does not expect any other players to be leaving the club. I received a text supposedly from the Royal Mail saying that I had missed my delivery, an item ordered on eBay. I followed a link to the RM website which offered me the chance to choose my delivery date, the link took me to a pay site for me to pay £2.10 of the privilege of having it redelivered. The item value was £1.29 so obviously I wasn't going to pay more than the value of the goods. Anyway, who gives a toss about £1.29? Scammers are on the increase lately it seems. I had a phonecall come through from a nondescript mobile phone number that proceeded to tell me, via an automated recording, that HMRC have a fraud warrant out on me and unless I press 1 instantly (presumably to go to "pay the fee"), the warrant would be issued.
HMRC giving people a polite heads up warning that they're about to be arrested, off a mmobile phone number. Definitely legit.
So far he's scored 7 goals in his career. 5 in 21 at Charlton gives 10 a season, so whilst useful, not someone you want to be relying on.
