Reading on twitter that there is flood water under the stand. As we know there is an artesian spring under the Tilton End. Is the presence of flood water as a result of there being a membrane between the stands and the ground preventing the water from draining away? Could it be that the pitch undersoil heating installed in 2009 might be preventing drainage?

Also reading that the asbestos is present in this flood water. Dumped there apparently by the contractors who worked on the site in 1994.

Decent match. Lichfield were a bit unlucky really.

Last time I can recall seeing Leroy Lita play was when he scored a screamer at Elland Road for us.

It was strange for me watching it on TV as I grew up next to the pitch and spent my childhood playing on that field before they fenced it off.

Interesting decision to award Korda a 3 because her ball was overhanging the hole.
Yes only 7 seconds out of 10 but they could wait all day and that ball wouldn’t drop in the hole.
Seems a very controversial decision.
In fourball match play many many putts are conceded and picked up by opponents within that 10 seconds.
If the ball is moving or oscillating then fine.
Anyway ….move on Europe !!

Quite a few players have got themselves an international career thanks to being British and born overseas - most notably from our perspective Maik Taylor.

I think technically Matt Le Tissier could have represented any of the Home Countries.

Intriguing rematch. Lara put Warrington down early and he never seemed to regain his legs before being laid out and stopped in Round 9 in an almost empty and silent Wembley Arena. Tonight Leeds Rhinos Stadium will be packed with Warrington fans which will surely help but I can’t fathom why Warrington is favourite tonight , so comprehensive was Lara just 7 months ago.
I might have a bit on Lara on points at 9/1 this time.
What do you lot reckon?

Today is my official 50th as a fan. I have few memories of the actual match. I was 7 and we won 4-1 with Latchford scoring a hat trick (Francis grabbed the other). We were losing 1-0 at Half Time (Typical Blues) and there were 25,231 there.

We won both my first two games 4-1 and Bob grabbed 3 in both. I was either hooked or conned . 6 months prior a heavy cold prevented me going to my first ever match with my uncle.....however that was over at B6.... ahem. A twist of fate (without doubt)... Читать дальше...
