Anyone got a ref for this? Will buy you a few beers.
I don’t know anyone who said he was that midfielder tbf
The issue here is “reason” vs “excuse”
To evaluate a defeat to find the reason is different to offering an excuse for it, (as if it’s beyond your own control and exonerates the players from what was an awful display)
We lost because we had an off day, the players seemed lethargic in body and mind and we were outplayed on the day by a quicker, more motivated team. Fair enough, shit happens, you can’t win every game, they’re human. Leave it a that, own it and work on it for the next game. Читать дальше...

you had any form of apology ?
If there were proper compensation rules in place for taking other clubs' academy players I don't think the agents would be getting up to so many shenanigans.
On a separate note, we've got so many reasons to hate Fulham and they still wouldn't get into my top 50 of clubs I don't like.
Birmingham City have been struggling near the bottom of the league for several years - could this one be different?

The play-maker didn't always impact games at Birmingham City - he certainly did against the Bhoys on Saturday

Classic. Burglar still creases me.
Filthy, Rich and Catflap was also brilliant.
Probably has been point out of joint, i have never rated Dean as a Captain just doesn't strike me as a leader, but he was the only one to come over and recognise the poor performance on Saturday so i might be wrong
Only just discovered this 2012 documentary about American singer, Rodriguez. Unheard of almost anywhere, but bigger than Elvis in South Africa.
If you're interested in music, and particularly the music industry, or if you just want an emotional journey, this will hit the spot.
Excellent documentary although it isnt quite as true as the film makers make out.

Yeah, I noticed how flat footed at the back we were against Fulham. That is a major problem. Defending deep and against set pieces..we’re pretty good really..
But playing that high line with no pace…
Overall I think Bowyer will do a bit of tweaking and squad wise, we’re in good shape.
I felt that the massive fanfare that Deeney had was slightly disruptive. I’m a fan of his, but I can imagine that the current squad could have done without the big media fuss…heralding the new messiah. Читать дальше...
Lesbos is good, north rather than south. Molyvos/Petra, that area. Mind you, your mellow could be harshed by desperate refugees, so not entirely sure about that.
Although I haven’t been for years and it may well have changed, Andros is or was great.
Parga on the mainland is pretty good too…….took a trip to Paxos from there, which seemed very quiet……so quiet eff all was open.

Interesting article about his agent at 14 basically forcing through his move to Fulham
Either next year or the year after me and Mrs Wolvo are looking at going to one of the Greek Islands for a few days. We're looking at the quieter, more traditional, less commercialised islands. All suggestions greatly appreciated. Ta
Denial is what I'm getting from my Derby supporting work colleagues. They still think Mel Morris has the best interest of the club at heart and that barring that play off final disgrace they would be were Villa are now. They see it as a 'good gamble for promotion that didn't quite work'.
Quite a few have also said it's no worse than what we did. Some fans of other teams must assume we went into administration and thats why we had the points deducted.
Just wondered if anyone was thinking since Troy has come if Harlee Dean feels his captaincy has been undermined. Thoughts...
Of course there are loads more factors but I feel the biggest reason we beat Sheffield United away this season was they did not expect our 352 formation, they did not known how to deal with it.
But Saturday and Wednesday we were tore to pieces because Fulham and Peterborough fully expected it and took full advantage of its flaws. Each opposing best player had the run of the full back positions, stretching our centre backs and ex[posing the wing backs.
I believe Bowyer will learn a lot from it.
