This thread has made me think back, making me feel old.
Around 2003 when I was 14 all my mates had English teams they liked. All mostly Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal. You know the usual big teams people latch on to. Those teams reminded too much of the old firm up here when it came to spending etc and not the sort of team I would enjoy being a fan off.
Long story short I happened to watch a Blues game and I really enjoyed it and the atmosphere seemed brilliant so started taking an interest. Читать дальше...
This is simply one of the best programs of the last couple of years.
A light and frothy program in the main, but just now and again you get a real insight to the real person and sometimes a real emotional response.

Yeah. We've had criticisms of our owners from time to time. The rewilding project, the quirky empty lower tiers, a few amusing managerial appointments, and do you remember that time when they sold tickets for seats they knew wouldn't be available. You have to laugh, marvellous characters.

Any refs on here? I finished my course in the summer and I've started reffing kids football, as I'm a relatively responsible adult I'm mainly doing u14s/u13s at 11 a side.
The course is really lightweight now, it's no longer a massive test of 'The Laws' and is much more about how to deal with people on the pitch. Really interesting, of course what is most interesting is that it seems refs are the only people who read the laws, and players/coaches/managers/parents/spectators don't really... Читать дальше...

I recently did a house transaction and the solicitor appointed were pretty bad very poor communication and mess ups. all added to the time.
They now owe me refund money from the transaction a few hundred quid. I have trying for 6 weeks to get it together with a final statement of the whole transaction.
They keep saying they will do it urgently but nothing.
They were on a panel provided by the Building society so I thought they would be OK.

So I got the head honchos name off the website. Called again as usual they were trying to fob me off (no apology for not calling me back again as promised this morning)
I asked to speak to head man they said why? I told them I am just about to submit a money claim on line and was doing him the courtesy of wether he wants me to cite him personally or his head of finance.
Series of grovelling call phone call s back and bank payment promised by end of play today - we'll see
