My dream attack for next year's Ashes would be Archer, Mahmood, Potts, Stokes and an ever improving Leach. Jimmy or Wood for Mahmood maybe, depending. Then we've got all bases covered; pace, swing, reverse swing and accuracy.
The thing we really lack is a quick left-armer.
I'm going on Friday and Saturday against India. I really hope Foakes makes it, but I doubt he will.

Has he got a new roll?
Shaun Williamson who played Barry Evans on Eastenders. Saw him a few hours ago in TGI Fridays on Hayley road. He couldn’t have been any nicer, he chatted to me & the family & posed for some pics. A lot of the staff in TGI’s were pretty young & asked me who he was when he left. I told them he was an Eastenders legend.
Was I telling the truth, is he a legend??
