Re: Season Tickets

mad

The flexi ticket was actually available last season (and for most of the previous decade) if you sat in the main stand paddocks. It'll be interesting to see how many renew this season in those sections which have seen a huge hike in the price. £220/230 last season now £300 makes it an extra £4 per match and means folks who choose to sit there wont any longer have so much flexibility as they did last season where you could skip 8 or 9 matches and it was still worth having that season ticket

Re: Ivan Sunjic

Don't think you were the only one to be fair mate, I think 99.9% of the fanbase were excited!
I remember being pretty confident we'd turn a decent profit on him. I'm fairly certain the noises around the club at that time were that we were looking to buy younger, with the view to selling on for much more and this signing seemed to fit the bill.

Apparently we’re interested - news via Alex Dicken in the Brum Mail.

Pennington & Fitzwater both look like the kind of player we need. Cheap, decent, could get better... and if we're not loaning defenders then we may be able to loan some decent attacking players.

Feels very Lee Clark 2014 to me.

Not a drinker myself but my lad has recently joined the club, so to speak.
He did me a favour a while ago and I want to show my appreciation by buying him a bottle.
I saw this (Lagavulin 16 year old malt) £65. on Amazon, Perhaps not the best place to buy Whisky, but.
Anyone tried it?

Thanks for all the replies.
As I said, he is relative beginner at this and the Lagavulin may be a bit too much to take at this time.
You've given me plenty of advice, thanks for that.

Re: The Beat - Town Hall last night

Unless the Jam reform (and they won't) I can't ever see me being in a rush to see any of those bands again now.

I'm the same as you,I was at those Jam gigs decade's ago and I've long since decided to leave it to the past.

Miguelagenn:

Paul Weller played 2 miles from my house (on the chase) the other night, zero interest from me.

I still detest the little toad, and I won’t change my mind unless he changes his mind on Birmingham City. Which ain’t happening. So I will not be moved either.

He’s ex Vile. Nothing else needed to say.

New season (14 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I’ve just checked and there’s only 7 and a half weeks until the new season starts????.
Poor old Eustace has got a hell of a task to put together a team in such a short space of time that can try to compete in what will be a very competitive league.
Obviously the takeover business will also delay bringing in new players but I must keep repeating to myself ‘stay positive, things can only get better’
(I think)

I love the idea of going everything bit by bit for loads of marginal (and some large) gains.

Do anyone else go - excellent gig saw a number of Blues heads there.

Town Hall full of Adidas trainers and polo shirts.

Dave Wakeling still got it.

Honorable mention to the support band - Annabella and Bow Wow Wow.

Fantastic Night.
