I am genuinely baffled at the amount of negative chatter ... "I don't want this" / "I don't like that" / " I can't stand the other " .
Loads of scope to analyse why I know, but it's totally pointless.

My point it that a very average football manager earns a King's ransom compared to the people contributing to his wages. In years gone by the divide was never this big, even though footballers/managers were on a half decent screw. It's weird how so many can become millionaires on the back of being paid for relative failure

For me the owners are more important than who the manager is right now.
Because of the changes this new ownership have put in place, John Eustace looked a much better manager this season compared to last. Therefore I would expect Rooney to also look a better manager than he did when he was managing both Derby and DC where he was hindered not helped by ownership.
