Another from the early 70’s scrapbook. RIP.
Villa full back gone. Such a difficult opponent. RIP.
Want to take the family over there next year for a good 10 days exploring. Not cheap when you're driving over. Looks to be about £550+ for a return from Fishguard.
I just wanted to check if anyone has experience with this and knows of any cost saving alternatives?
Yup depends on where in Ireland he wants but if I'm over for more then a few days I just get a car SIXT is about £30 a day these days so prices have dropped.
If not I just use the Leap card which I can pretty much use on all the buses, trains & DART in the country

The Birmingham Mail should change its name to ’Podcasts I Listened to on The Way to Work This Morning‘. Admittedly, not a very catchy title, but it’s certainly a more accurate reflection of their output of late.

Here's one for y'all
There seems to be universal vitriol being shared in the direction of the handful (?) of people who shouted abuse at Rooney / Wagner last week.
There never seems to be the same universal vitriol shared when our fans tear up a pub in Norwich or Sheffield, or punch a QPR supporter in the face on the pitch or start fighting in the Riverside Stadium car park. IIRC there was general ambivalence (even happiness from some) when Grealish got his slap.

…from last Wednesdays abuse?…
No real word from the club since

We are, and I'm not joking.
He should seriously consider trying to get as much money back as possible and go somewhere where he'd be more appreciated.
Can we stop using this as an excuse?
A team relegated from the premier league, so not good enough to stay in that league over 38 games.
Their best players leave, making them an even poorer side.
The opposition every week is nothing more than a Championship side.
Accepting defeat needs to be one of the clubs philosophies that is changed ASAP.

I agree completely. I find Saturday though, it was a convenient excuse to explain the comfortable defeat, rather than say that we were so poor for a third game running with our new manager.

Latest Birmingham City news from BirminghamLive as former Blues boss John Eustace tipped to take charge at Bristol City

Lol. That’s your opinion so fine.
But deciding to give up supporting your team given that presumably you’ve supported us through Bowyer, King and Pennant to name just a few is laughable.
If you genuinely mean what you say I’m amazed.
Best of luck for the future.
Now you know my stance re Rooney, positive and backing him etc.
However we've always said that Warnock was the most obvious Blues manager of all time yet he never managed us.
Can we see a situation where Rooney doesn't work and we're in trouble so he comes in with 10-15 games left and saves the day?
Just hypothetical. I don't think it'll come to it at all.
RESIGN.
In fairness, I don't think Sir Alex took any training sessions or got too involved in tactical play throughs. But he was a brilliant reader of people and the game on a macro and micro scale. So I'd suggest it was the perfect blend of Kid & Ferguson, McLaren & Ferguson, Quieroz & Ferguson.
Ferguson was one of the best their is but he knew the value of a good assistant.
