Don’t put much store by that article, as it dwells a lot of now irrelevant past. It does describe Romney’s leadership in time at Derby as admirable though, though apparently quite a few of our fans think it was ‘shit’.
It used to be essential viewing for me and I still try to watch it now even though music isn’t as big a thing in my life these days. It gives me a look at artists I wouldn’t pick up anywhere else and, despite the sheer volume of channels now, there still isn’t anything like it elsewhere on TV

Come on, some of this is crazy. Yes we are 6th, but there is 5 points between Preston in 3rd and Millwall in 15th. If we don't get that penalty on Friday, don't kick on in that match and we are sat today in 14th and only 1 win in 6. I guarantee the support would be less staunch. If it had happened after the Norwich less than 50% would have cared too much.

I was about to do a post about monetising Rooney from YouTube, etc and this is similar vein. If has been suggested it is the next manager that is the one to worry about and Rooney is just about profile - how do qet that money ?
Anyone else think that this has all been done to add some colour to the TV thing that is being filmed at the moment? The cameras have been down there since day 1 so this would be the first big news bit to pad it out.
It's going to be scripted reality in essence like TOWIE and what not and the American's who are paying for it like the drama.
Thinking about the money and the ratings and not the team could be a slippery slope.....
There’s a few on here who are glass half empty types. Regardless of the situation they see the negatives and expect the worst and cannot wait to tell everyone how bad it will be.
What it boils down to is fear. Some people handle it well and embrace it as exciting while others take a fatalistic view and see it as scary and bound to end in disaster. I’d put Rooney in the former camp and Eustace with at least one foot firmly in the latter camp.

I've said before that Zola was one of the nicest guys I have ever met in football, for someone of his world class (?) talent and he so, so desperately wanted it to work. He made mistakes but the environment was not right, either. Yes, some of us got carried away (me included I will admit) and maybe if he/they had gone slower in trying to change it all, it might have been better.
